Which certificates does a landlord need?
UK landlords must hold a current gas safety certificate (CP12), renewed every twelve months, and an electrical installation condition report (EICR), renewed every five years. Buildings insurance generally renews annually and must stay active to keep the mortgage valid. Each expiry date is tracked in Mortgage Minder, and you can upload the certificate file to the property record for safekeeping.
How do I keep track of multiple renewal dates?
